I got mugged in Philly.
This is what I carry in my bag...
Notebook
Sketchbook
Pen
Pencil
Cell Phone (in case i get lost)
Camera (to capture all the sites)
Water Bottle (because it is soooo hot in rome)
Temple Rome Guide Book
Map (to find my way...sorta)
Lipgloss
Wallet (with a little bit of cash, my isic card, and my keys)
...dont want to carry much...in case i get mugged again!
